Project Manager

Macc Living is a local based company in Birmingham specialising in residential development and in building and operating care home projects.

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager to deliver high specification projects within and around the Birmingham area.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact for the client
  • Ensuring all sites are H&S compliant
  • Ensuring sites are clean and in line with corporate brand policies
  • Identifying problems and offering solutions
  • Managing multiple projects at any one time
  • Delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Setting up projects with key in-house personnel and sub-contractors
  • Reviewing labour and resource throughout the project duration
  • Working closely with the Site Manager ensuring program and quality are controlled
  • Working closely with the in-house Electrical and Plumbing Engineers ensuring M&E quality on all projects
  • Liaising with Architect/Interior Designers, co-coordinating and managing the design drawings and process
  • Liaising with the professional team and specialist consultants
  • Dealing with Local Authorities, Landlords and Managing Agents for consents and approvals
  • Attending design team meetings, trade contractor meetings and client meetings

Essential Knowledge / Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Business Construction Management
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Degree qualified within relevant discipline
  • High-end residential experience
  • Site-based experience preferred within high-end finishes
